Long story short, sadness totally hit me since I returned to the city from San Francisco. I was calling my best friend while crying on the phone shamelessly at a coffee shop. After some laughs she commented on my broken heart, she said, “Oh! This is great! Let’s do a photoshoot about sadness.” (Well, maybe don’t ever call your best friend when you are sad if she is a photographer!) Only because she needed one project to perfect her portfolio, we successfully turned the sadness into a great artsy colloborative photography project. And what we got here turned bigger and richer than we thought.
As all my close friends anticipated, I was able to let the sadness go after a few weeks. But what they didn’t know was that I was crying stupidly in front of camera at the shoot. When I look back now, I think this project helped me heal faster. And, my best friend who shot me Maya (http://www.mayaluophoto.com) officially became the photographer for Summer Sins Style ever since.
