Imagine we are in Moldova from 11 years ago in 2008. Olga and Natalia were competing against each other at Miss Moldova beauty competition. Yet being competitors didn’t stop them from becoming good friends ever since. They never imagined being bloggers together on AllBuenoThings.com full-time and becoming so successful along the way.
Everyone can decide in a blink that he or she wants to be a blogger, but it is not easy to become a successful one, not to mention being successful duo bloggers. This year, they are planning an exciting new project, the opening of their Blogger Spot, The Cellar Soho, a workspace for influencers and media creators.
I had a chance to approach Olga and Natalia and get a taste of their success. Let’s hear out what they have to share about the secrets behind duo bloggers, and stay tuned for their new project!

Tell us a little about yourself.
Olga: Born and raised in Moldova, I moved to the USA 7 years ago. I would never think I’m going to become a blogger one day and travel the world the way I’m now.
Natalia: I am Originally from Moldova, and moved to NYC three and a half years ago when Olga and I decided to create AllBuenoThings.com. Since then I’ve been sharing my passion for fashion and travel through my Instagram. My biggest love is NYC, and I just love to walk around the city and discover new hidden spots.

Why did you choose to be an influencer?
Olga: My friend Natalia came up with this idea and convinced me to start blogging together.
Natalia: When I moved to NYC, I started to shop like crazy since in Moldova we didn’t have any designer stores (not even Zara or Topshop). So I decided to share all looks on my Instagram and blog. But back then I couldn’t even imagine that it will become my full-time job. I’ve been doing this because I really loved it and enjoyed every second of photo shooting, planning outfits and writing blog posts.

What brought you two together?
Olga: We were participating together in Miss Moldova 2008 beauty competition. Ever since we became friends and started to party and travel together.
Natalia: We’ve been participating at Miss Moldova ’08 beauty contest, and unexpectedly became friends after the competition. So we are friends for more than 10 years already.
How many countries have you visited? How many have you lived in?
Olga: So far I’ve been to 15 countries (or maybe even more) and lived in three: Moldova, Russia, and the USA.
Natalia: I’ve visited around 5 counties, and had a chance to live in Moldova, Greece (during my internship) and the USA.

How many languages do you speak?
Olga: 5 languages: Russian is my native, Romanian and French – almost forget these two, English – obviously, and Ukrainian.
Natalia: Fluently I speak Russian, English, Romanian, and a little bit of Spanish.
Many influencers and brands have been struggling with engagements on social media. What advice would you give to increase the engagement rate?
Olga: Share your story and learn to share it in a way that people would want to come back to your page to check on you. That’s how you get loyal followers and more engagement. No one has a story you have. Also, keep in mind that everything you share on your page makes an impact on other people. So make sure you do it right.
Natalia: I guess that the most important is to be consistent and post according to your schedule. For example, I am posting every day no matter what. Because I know that there are followers who are waiting for my posts. Also, I would recommend posting something that your followers don’t expect you to. We all are getting bored sometimes and need something new. For example, if you are posting your daily outfits all the time, try to post brunch spots or makeup routine, just to diversify your feed.

Who or what has been your biggest inspiration?
Olga: My biggest inspiration without a doubt is Instagram. Sometimes I feel like I can get lost on this app. With so many amazing media creators you can always find lots of inspiration.
Natalia: This is a very tough question. Beause I am trying to find inspiration in simple daily things, but my biggest inspiration has always been NYC. Whenever I feel down or uninspired, I just need to walk around the city and feel its energy.

How do you think social media has transformed the travel and fashion business?
Olga: I think it transformed it big time. Every time before I book a hotel or experience, I make sure to check out their social media accounts to make sure I’m going to like that place and it has positive reviews.
Natalia: I think that with the social media era fashion transformed more into fast fashion. Because every day now we are looking for something new. As for travel business, social media became the key factor in developing new destinations and places. Travel bloggers and influencers create amazing content, that is the best PR for any destination. Just take a look at how popular and overcrowded is Bali or Positano now with the help of influencers.

What’s the next step on top of being an influencer?
Olga: We’ve been working on this project for a while now. Next stop is the opening of our Blogger Spot – The Cellar Soho – a workspace for influencers and media creators. Hopefully, it’s going to open within the next two month.
Natalia: we are planning to open a really exciting project in a couple of months for the whole influencer industry in NYC. So stay tuned, and we will share all the details a little bit later.
