London Fashion Week SS19: One to Watch “i-am-chen”

 London fashion week: Spring/Summer 2019

i-am-chen

Anticipation was in the air as we sat in the darkened room waiting for the show to begin, you could feel the excitement. i-am-chen a Hong-Kong based brand is defiantly one to watch, bringing a playful and light-hearted spirit to this seasons collection. The pieces were bright, bold and attention-grabbing. As the models began to walk i-am-chen gave me tingles and an “OMG I want everything” feeling.

This is next level knitwear design and at a closer look, you can see how technical the pieces are. Chen reinterprets the definition of knitwear pushing the boundaries of knit design, using experimental techniques to create unique garments which are full of eye-catching shapes and bold wearable colour combinations.

Can we talk accessories for a second!

“YES to them all”

The lip chain jeweling pushed the looks to another level and the active pieces made it effortlessly cool, with single geo earrings which fall in line with the asymmetrical trends that I adore.

Conclusion…I loved the show and am excited to see what greatness befalls i-am-chen in the coming years.
