I am Léanne, a French-American young woman who is currently living in New York City.
I am often asked, how are you French-American? It is actually one of my favorite stories and I am so happy to share it with you. My grandfather was an American soldier stationed in France and my grandmother was the “jolie Francaise” that seduced him. Sounds like a beautiful romantic movie, right? I grew up going back and forth between my two beloved countries. I really enjoy having this double perspective and trying to understand these cultures more clearly. I recently started sharing my love of my two languages through Parisienne style photos. Each photo is a new word to learn!
Enjoy and learn French avec moi.
