Born in Melbourne, Australia, Alex spent many summers as a child holidaying on the Victorian coast. Both environments gave Knight a love and appreciation for both the relaxed coastal lifestyle as well as chic busy city living. This diversity prepared her for a 9 year career as an international fashion model.
Even with her busy schedule, Alex continues to fuse her passion for performance and wellbeing, completing a Bachelor of Biomedical Science through Victoria University and a Health & Nutritional coaching accreditation from the New York school of Integrative Nutrition.  Most recently, Alex graduated as a certified Level 5 Pilates instructor from the Joseph Pilates school – Core Pilates in New York City.

Coupling her studies and passion for inner and outer beauty, Alex built the food division of the ever-expanding, Australian-influenced Bluestone Lane Coffee enterprise, a business she started together with her husband over three years ago. As a brand ambassador and a team leader for the business, Alex stresses that health is a complete experience for the mind, body and soul.

So what’s next for Alex? As one would expect, Alex has a few new projects in the works. One of them is selfMADE, a private 360 structural conditioning initiative, in which Alex focuses on a client’s alignment, fitness goals and nutritional wellbeing.  Tailoring her services to individuals give her great joy, as her clients rewards are “selfMADE,” which is her mantra for the sleek studio. Alex is also getting ready to launch a partially gluten-free bakery called Husk, which is set to open this fall.

Make sure your passion is your strongest. If you have an idea, just got for it!
